Please join us for an early-stage program designed for individuals living with dementia with their care partner.

​

The group is aimed at teaching compensatory strategies for word recall, memory challenges, problem solving, and time management to enhance quality of life for those diagnosed and for those providing care.

​

Meetings will be one time weekly for an hour session over the course of 6 weeks. Participants will separate into 2 groups for the first 45 minutes and then come together for the remainder of the sessions to review and socialize.

​

Participants diagnosed with dementia will meet with speech pathologist Cindy Shepherd for compensatory strategy training.

​

Care partners will meet with social worker Lori Stock to reinforce the compensatory strategies being taught as well as to receive dementia education and caregiver support.

​
